IDENTIFY

Identifying things creates boundaries and the illusion of separation.

When we Identify ourselves as 'me', we assume that we are separate from everyone else, and that we have a boundary inside which an individual exists.

When we Identify with an idea we create a belief in that idea which brings it into our field of awareness.

This identification can lead us to defend the idea as if it was who we are, leading to conflict between people who mistakenly believe that the idea defines their being.

When we release the personal attachment to thoughts and ideas and realise that these phenomenon arise from the Source of all that is, then we can begin to liberate our minds from the prison of identification with its perceptions.
